Secured Private Network
was founded in 1999 to participate in the explosive
growth of Internet-related services. Its Executive
Officers and Directors have previously owned and operated
telephone and data service companies with over 46
years of combined experience. The combined forces
of our executives proficiency in business development,
capital management and sales expertise have helped
make Secured Private Network what it is today, and
the dynamic phenomenon it will be in the future.
Specializing in
broadband network solutions including high-speed internet
access, data, gaming. voice and video services, Secured
Private Network has made favorable partnering agreements
ranging from internet backbone suppliers, first line
equipment vendors to backbone and fiber providers.
Such strategic partnerships have allowed Secured Private
Network to deliver various successful solutions to
many major as well as smaller corporations across
the nation. |
The Secured Private
Network utilizes the most advanced network design in the
industry. Our network architecture is based on building
our telecommunications network "on top" of major
metropolitan fiber optic interconnection points within class
'A' carrier facilities, and by incorporating the fastest,
most reliable, redundant and scalable hardware available.
At present, Secured Private Network is the only midsize
ISP offering “wire-speed” networking in every
device, at every access point. Each one of our access centers
is connected to the internet through multiple, diverse,
ultra-fast Long-Haul Ethernet and OC-192 circuits that scale
up 10 Gb/s (10 Gigabits per second) of data.
OBJECTIVES
In a cost conscious, multi-location
enterprise data transfer, security and I.T. costs have begun
to tax legacy telco networks. Technologies such as Frame
Relay, T1 and DSL, not to mention modem based connectivity
are not able to deliver the speed or stability to perform
centralized data networking and communications. For example;
a T1 line capable of 1.54 megabits of data throughput, at
a cost of $1,500 USD has become too slow and too expensive
to service the needs of a company to provide information
to remote offices. As computing speed has increased, networking
speed has remained a constant due in most part to cost.
Optical Carrier lines, such as OC-3, 12 and up, at a cost
many times higher than T1 have remained the province of
companies with million dollar networking budgets. Secured
Private Network can now deliver the equivalent speeds to
the small and large enterprise alike at significant cost
savings. By leveraging existing and new fiber deployments
in metropolitan areas as well as other air-based deliveries
Secured Private Network can offer the bandwidth to support
outsourced data centralization and a full suite of managed
communication services. The typical office Local Area Network
(LAN) supports a throughput of 100 megabits/sec, Secured
Private Network can now offer the same speed to the Wide
Area Network (WAN) to connect remote offices to mission
critical data housed in colocation centers. This outsourced
network is fully scalable from 1 megabit/sec to 10 gigabit/sec,
additionally web sites, databases and email servers can
be centrally located, managed and made redundant for maximum
speed and and uptime. A cost assessment of the legacy networks
and that offered by Secured Private Network, where a telco
supplied OC-3 can cost as much as $50,000 USD when fully
utilized as compared to a 100mb/s ethernet connection at
a cost of $9,500 truly shows the value of Secured Private
Network’s next generation offerings. Add to this the
reduced costs in I.T. staffing, and facilities maintenance
of servers, where Secured Private Network can house and
fully manage a company’s data infrastructure within
Class A, redundantly powered, fireproof data centers and
the proposition is complete. For smaller offices Secured
Private Network does offer DSL, T1 and multiplexed T1 services,
but as costs continue to decrease and fiber deployments
increase, ethernet services will replace these delivery
methods. Secured Private Network specializes in private
networking and can offer Plug and Play private networks
across all of our bandwidth delivery options. Should a company
deploy Secured Private Network as their total communications
solution, normal encryption methods become superfluous as
the Secured Private Network Secured Private Network (SPN)
is fully private, utilizing the latest in VLAN and MPLS
technologies.
PARTNERSHIPS
By not partnering with Cisco
Systems, and instead with more forward thinking companies
such as Unisphere Networks, Foundry Networks, and others
Secured Private Network is building the first fully functioning
“wire speed” network in the world. As most companies
struggle to replace their legacy infrastructure, Secured
Private Network has built and continues to build its network
with only “wire speed” networking equipment
from the ground up. As such we have built a new intelligent
infrastructure that is more than just a commodity transport
network. Secured Private Network can, therefore, bring the
customer services matched only by the largest players in
this market, while bringing them to market with a speed
and confidence the larger vendors cannot match thus increasing
market share, revenue, and profit potential.
SPN/VPN
The wide-area networking paradigm
is shifting away from companies that attempt to autonomously
handle their own communications requirements. The trend
is toward partnering with service providers like Secured
Private Network through private networks. This fundamental
shift in strategy opens up opportunities for continued growth,
increased profitability, and increased efficiency for Secured
Private Network.
Secured Private Network's
VPN alternative, appropriately named SPN, incorporates the
speed, security, and versatility of DSL, T1, Long Haul Ethernet
and air based delivery technologies with the wide geographical
coverage of several national networks. By combining multiple
connectivity options within a homogeneous managed network,
businesses of every size can now take advantage of SPN services
across all of our delivery methods without having to rely
on expensive and unpredictable Virtual Private Network (VPN)
solutions.
